Liz, a dedicated Registered Veterinary Technician, graduated from Oulton College in 2013 and joined our team in 2021. Born and raised in Fredericton, she’s proud to now be raising her own family in the city she loves.

At home, Liz cherishes her time with her young son and their rescue cat, Miller, who brings plenty of purrs and personality to their household. Her passion for animals and commitment to excellent care make Elizabeth an invaluable part of our team.

What is your favourite animal and why?

Dogs are my favorite animal because of their boundless joy and unwavering loyalty. There’s nothing quite like being greeted by a happy wagging tail and the pure excitement they show every time they see you—it’s a reminder of the simple, unconditional love they bring to our lives.
What inspired you to work in this industry?

Growing up, I spent a lot of time helping out at my aunt and uncle’s veterinary clinic. Those experiences gave me a firsthand look at the incredible bond between people and their pets, and I absolutely loved being part of their care. That early exposure sparked my passion for animals and inspired me to pursue a career where I could make a difference in their lives every day.
What advice would you give pet owners to ensure their pets lead healthy lives?

I always tell pet owners that regular annual exams are one of the most important things you can do for your pet’s health. These check-ups help catch potential issues early and give us the chance to discuss preventive care, nutrition, and any changes in your pet’s behavior. Staying proactive with their health ensures they live a longer, happier life by your side.
