Susan and Jason MacArthur

Dr.’s Susan and Jason MacArthur graduated from the Atlantic Veterinary College and then moved to Maine. They missed their maritime roots and wanted to raise their children closer to family, so they made the decision to move back to NB in 2003. They worked at a local Veterinary Hospital for 2 years before deciding to open Royal Road Veterinary Hospital in September of 2005. They have 3 children and numerous pets including 3 dogs, 3 cats, a rabbit, 2 guinea pigs, chickens, goats and ponies.

Dr. Sue grew up in Fredericton. Her professional interests lie in Internal Medicine and Feline Medicine and Surgery. Outside of work , she enjoys hiking, yoga, cooking for her family and loves family gatherings.

Dr. Jason grew up in Tyne Valley, PEI. His interest lies in ultrasonography. He performs all of our in hospital ultrasounds and does referral ultrasounds as well. When not doing an ultrasound, you can find him at home taking care of the many goats, chickens and ponies on their hobby farm.

Dr. Lisa Leachman
Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Lisa Leachman is also another Fredericton native. Lisa attended the Atlantic Veterinary College where she earned a degree in veterinary medicine and joined us in May of 2017. For as long as she can remember, Lisa always wanted to be a Veterinarian. She and her partner Campbell are the proud owners of Pumpkin, a Himalayan and Russ, a golden doodle. In her spare time, Lisa enjoys reading, camping, yoga and spending time with her family. Dr. Leachman has completed the Dermatology Program through Vetfolio, an AAHA and NAVC approved Continuing education forum

Jessy Wyman 
Veterinary Assistant

Jessy was born and raised here in Fredericton. She graduated from the Veterinary Administrative Assistant program in 2007 and has been working in the veterinary industry off and on ever since. Jessy lives with her husband, Peter and their 3 cats, Zappa, Bonnie and Prince. In her spare time, Jessy loves her music, spending time with her family and travelling. She is thrilled to be part of the team here at Royal Road Veterinary Hospital and always looks forward to getting to know all of the clients and their fur babies!

Jessica Munn
Veterinary Assistant

Jessica Munn is a Veterinary Assistant whom was also raised in Fredericton. She did spend 3 years in Alberta but like many of us, the Maritimes called her home. She owns a cat named Brik and would gladly take home many more. She is waiting for the right time to add a dog into the mix. Her interests include hiking and exploring the outdoors. She grew up with and around animals and couldn’t imagine life without them.

Cheyanne Nason
Veterinary Technician

Cheyanne is a Veterinary Technician who is currently enrolled in Thompson Rivers University to become a Registered Veterinary Technician. Cheyanne grew up in Harvey, NB and currently resides in Fredericton. Growing up on a farm taught her not only how animals can be beneficial for working use, but also how they become part of your family. That is why she chose this field for a career path. Seeing the different bonds made between an owner and their best friend, is the most rewarding part of her job. She spends the majority of her spare time with her horse, Gunner.

Hailey Corbett
Registered Veterinary Technician

Hailey is our newest technician and graduated from Oulton College in May of 2018.  She is from Fredericton and is the proud pet parent of an adorable little Yorkie named Gracie.
She loves the nursing aspect of her job and strives to provide the best patient care.  Her interests include biking, being outdoors, cooking and enjoying new recipes with her family.  

Dr. LeeAnn Pack

Dr. LeeAnn Pack grew up in Northeast Arkansas and worked as a human radiology technologist before entering veterinary school. She received her DVM from Louisiana State University, and completed a one-year large animal internship at the Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC), Prince Edward Island, Canada.
Dr. Pack then completed a diagnostic imaging residency at the University of Georgia in 2001. She is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Radiology (ACVR).

After the completion of her residency, she moved back to Canada to again work at the Atlantic Veterinary College as a radiologist for 15 years. She acted as service chief of the diagnostic imaging section and residency director for the ACVR resident training program. She has received multiple awards for her teaching excellence.

Dr. Pack has been an invited speaker for multiple veterinary conferences nationally and internationally as well as published multiple peer reviewed scientific papers.

Dr. Pack is owner and CEO of Southland Vets, a mobile ultrasound and teleradiology company based in Northeast Arkansas. She also provides imaging locum support for the veterinary teaching hospitals in Missouri, at Cornell and Oregon which allows her to stay on the cutting edge of imaging. In her spare time, Dr. Pack enjoys photography and traveling. She has a patchwork Catahoula with blue eyes named Quid. She actively trains her in obedience. 

Dr. Pack views all our radiographs through Southland Vets Mobile Ultrasound and Teleradiology.
